Mansoura University, granted, a master's degreem in science in the following fields:-
• Field of Physics:
Theoretical Physics -Experimental Physics-Medical Physics-biophysics
•Field of chemistry
Organic Chemistry -Inorganic Chemistry-Physical Chemistry-Analytical Chemistry-Biochemistry
•Field of mathematics
Pure Mathematics -Applied Mathematics -Statistics and Computer Science
•Field of geology
Minerals, rocks and ores deposits-sedimentary rocks and sedimentation-excavations and classes-Petroleum Geology and water-Applied Geophysics-Environmental Geology
•Field of botany
The physiology of the plant-the plant environment and classification of flowering plants-plant genetics and cell-Microbiology
•Field of Zoology
The physiology of animals and the environment-comparative anatomyandembryology-parasitesandvertebrates-fish biology-cell and tissuebiologyand genetics-entomology
Requirements for master’s degree registration
Student should be obtained the bachelor degree in sciences from one of the Egyptian Universities or an equal degree from any other scientific institute (notarized). The place of work should grant him the required vacation to be free to follow his study at least 3 days weekly.
About the students of special sections; they should obtained a cumulative grade not less than "Good". But about students of general department, the grade of specialization subject registered should be "Very Good" at least and the cumulative grade should be "Good" at least. 
The period required to obtain the masters is two years –at least- from the date of the acceptance of the faculty council on the registration in preparatory studies.The student has no right to introduce his research except after one year at least from the date of the acceptance of the faculty council on the registration.
Study should be done through the preparatory year on terms system. One studying year contains two terms. The faculty council determines the beginning of each term and the time table of examinations.

• The place of work should grant him the required vacation to be free to follow his study at least 3 days weekly.
