The strategic plan of the faculty of Science is characterized by a set of strategic goals for the college that cover the areas of academic quality, administrative structure, and the effectiveness of financial spending in infrastructure and technology :
1- Promote and develop teaching and learning.
2- Developing and introducing graduate studies programs in the college in accordance with the needs of society and the requirements of the labor market.
3- Enhancing and developing scientific research to support the college’s research contribution and confirm its position in the local and international scientific research community in a way that helps the economic development of the community.
4- Enhancing and developing community services.
5- Enhancing and developing academic and administrative capabilities.
6- High quality education.
7- Developing the college's own resources to support the educational and research process, as well as the infrastructure and technology.
Scientific production of Master and Ph.D.
The Botany Department at the Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, pays great attention to the completion of an integrated scientific research of value that represents a scientific addition to human knowledge..
Nearly 400 theses (293 master degree and 101 PhD degree) have been discussed in the Botany Department during the past two decades, their distribution as follows:
