 Petroleum and Mining Geology Program at the Faculty of Science accepts students with secondary school certificate of both branches of the scientific section (Sciences & Math), or equivalent certificates, according to the admission criteria stated by the supreme council of universities.

 In addition, the program accepts graduates of other related scientific colleges of Egyptian universities, or equivalent, after the approval of the College Council.

 The College Council may, upon the suggestion of the program administration, accept students who have a Bachelor of Science degree in any discipline, who apply to enroll in the Petroleum and Mining Geology Program. Provided that the duration of study in the college not to be less than three and a half academic years in the case of the student completes 136 credit hours, according to the admission criteria proposed by the program board and approved by the university council.
