About the Quality Assurance Unit

The construction of the unit

 The Quality Assurance Unit is responsible for managing the internal quality system in the faculty and the academic departments through the department’s quality committees. The Unit was established as one of the outputs of a project to establish an internal quality system at the faculty in September 2004 from the Project Management Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education.

 Since then, the unit has begun to disseminate the culture of ​​quality among staff members and their assistants, in addition to the administrators and students.

 The Quality Assurance Unit retains all documents and evidence of applied practices for managing quality activities in the faculty, with the support provided by the faculty administration.

 In 27/10/2011 the faculty has awarded academic accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, NAQAAE, and on 19/7/2017 the faculty has got a renewal of accreditation, to be ranked the first faculty of sciences in renewing the accreditation, and the process is still continuing in order to raise the efficiency of the faculty in Education, Scientific Research and Infrastructure.
