Rules of Postgraduate Studies and Research for International Students

Documents required for admission in principle:

1- Submit a letter of nomination for the scholarship from the embassy of the country to which the incoming student belongs to the Arab Republic of Egypt, including the following:

* The college, the scientific department, and the exact specialization to be enrolled and registered with

* The academic degree required to be registered and registered

* A statement whether the incoming student will study at the expense of the government of his country or a candidate for a scholarship from the Arab Republic of Egypt

NB: The student who is coming to study at his own expense is exempted from this condition

2- A certificate from the Supreme Council of Universities of the equivalency of certificates and degrees obtained by the student from abroad

   3- The original certificate of the bachelor’s degree notarized in the case of registration for a master’s degree, as well as the original of the master’s certificate notarized in case of registration for a doctoral degree

   4- The original birth certificate and a copy of a valid passport

   5- Notarized medical certificate

6- The approval of the security authorities and the student’s signature on an acknowledgment that the university has no responsibility to accept it permanently until after receiving the security approval

7- Determining a fixed place of residence in the Arab Republic of Egypt - an available phone number - as well as an email for the student that the student can be sent to and communicate with

8- (5) Information form, (4) data form, (2) opinion survey form, (10) application proof form, where the foreign student can obtain these forms through the following website of the services of the Central Administration for International Student Affairs

Rules regulating the admission and registration of international students

• A student who obtains an acceptable grade in the first university degree is accepted without being charged with any additional courses in faculties whose internal regulations require a grade higher than acceptable.
• Enrollment in the college is in principle until the completion and completion of all papers and documents, where it is approved by the competent authorities at the university.

Documents required to register for a master's degree/PhD

• A statement from the Central Library regarding the development of the study title and the mismatch with previous studies
• A letter from the Chairman of the Scientific Research Ethics Committee addressed to Prof. Dr., Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, stating that the study title is valid for application.
• Research plan and protocol approved by supervisors.
• A letter from the department registering the student for the courses determined by the main supervisor (for PhD students only).
• Deposit receipt of the tuition fees imposed on the student.

Papers required to form a judging and discussion committee for a master's degree / doctorate

NB: A student registered for a Ph.D. degree may only form after passing the courses he registered for by the supervisor according to the department’s rules, with a maximum of 8 credit hours.

2- A published research approved by the main supervisor and head of the department

3- Acknowledgment of submitting the scientific production (thesis + published research) for examination in the Turnitin3 program

4- A certificate approved by the university with the validity of scientific production and the percentage of plagiarism

5- The TOEFL / IELTS certificate and the letter of authentication of its validity from the English Language Center at the Faculty of Education, Mansoura University, after an official letter addressed by the Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, accompanied by the original certificate to indicate its validity

Language qualification

The level of the TOEFL exam is determined by a minimum of 390 for master’s degrees and 433 for doctoral degrees, provided that the certificate is accredited by any branch of AMIDEAST, and the academic IELTS is considered equivalent to the TOEFL provided that (5) degrees for master’s and (5.5) degrees for doctorate are obtained, provided that the certificate is approved by the Cultural Center British.

Documents Required for Scholarships for a Masters/PhD Degree

• A letter from the head of the department approving the grants.
• The collective report is approved by the arbitrators and the head of the department.
• The individual reports of the arbitrators, taking into account their signature on the reports.
• Receipt of the Central Library and the Library of Alexandria to export the message.
• A summary of the student's thesis.
