About the library

• The library was established in 1970, and its actual activities began in the same year.
• The library is located on the fourth floor on an area of ​​1612 square meters.
• The library is in a privileged location with easy access.
• The library is surrounded by empty spaces that allow the library to expand in the future, as a result of increasing its holdings and services, and thus the number of its beneficiaries.
• The location of the library is distinguished from its distance from the noise and overlooking the college garden, as it is a quiet place that provides comfort for the study and scientific research for the beneficiaries.
• The library has sufficient ventilation and natural lighting to perform the service for its visitors.
• The site was originally established to be a library for the College of Science on a large area, and to be suitable for the size, position and distinction of the College of Science, as its design is adapted to the surrounding environment.
• Inside the library there is a dedicated room in which lectures and seminars are held after obtaining prior permission from the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, as this is in violation of the library regulations.
