A professional exchange programs between Egypt and the United States of America

The Post-graduate Studies and Research Sector, the TICO Office, announces a number of scientific and professional exchange programs between Egypt and the United States of America as follows:

-- Study of the US Institutes (SUSI) for Students Leaders                            

This is a program designed to provide Egyptian university leaders (18-25 years) with understanding of their culture and the US system as well as to enhance their leadership skills. The five-week program - four-week academic and a one-week study tour in America - will take place in June and July 2019. The program includes attending seminars, discussions and lectures.

This program is a 15- to 17-year-old program for women students to learn technology and leadership skills through three weeks of US exchange program in the summer of 2019

-- Global Undergraduate Exchange Global UGRAD

This program is for future leaders to study in the United States for one semester. The program offers international students (bachelor students from 18-25 years) an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills; explore culture and values ​​in the United States; and exchange their cultures and traditions. Students will receive mandatory courses in the United States in areas such as history, literature, art, government, academic skills training, and courses in their areas of study. Students will also participate in unpaid community service and internship activities. Students must not be in the final year of baccalaureate.

This program is for faculty members and other scientists (30-50 years). The academic programs are at the graduate level with integrated study tours aimed at providing faculty at foreign universities and other scholars with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of American society, culture, values ​​and institutions to enhance their curriculum and improve teaching quality.

Specializations available in those areas:

American Culture and Values- American Politics and Political Thought- Contemporary American Literature- Journalism and Media- Religious Freedom and Pluralism
