Within the framework of the scientific cooperation protocol between the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and the China National Natural Science Foundation, the Academy is pleased to announce the acceptance of research proposals for the years 2020-2022, in accordance with the following requirements and requirements:

    Areas of cooperation to be submitted during the second joint declaration: the field of life sciences, engineering and materials science
   The duration of each project is 3 years
    The amount of funding allocated for each project is 300,000 LE (100,000 LE / year)
    Number of projects funding 6 projects
    Both the Egyptian researcher and the Chinese researcher must submit the research proposal at the same time, both on the site of his / her case.
    Applicants who wish to submit proposals must obtain the application forms through http://submission.asrt.sci.eg/; submission should be done by sending an electronic copy of the research proposal to the official website of the Academy. Applications will not be accepted in any other way.
    The need to attach a letter from the Egyptian Research Authority to approve the progress of the project as well as seal the first page of the project from the Egyptian and Chinese side.
    Deadline for submitting research proposals 27 June 2019
    The research proposals will be announced and accepted on the academic site.
    If the project wins the funding and informs the principal researcher of the result, the original project papers must be received to complete the financing procedures within three months from the date of informing the principal researcher. If not received, the project will not be funded permanently.

Important note:

    The main researcher and the alternate researcher should belong to the research team to the same university or research center. For the rest of the team members, they may belong to different quarters.

    The private universities accredited in the Arab Republic of Egypt are allowed to apply in accordance with this Declaration, as do the public universities.
