The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announces the opening of the competition for the "Falling Wall Laboratory".

 The competition is a joint collaboration with the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and hosts the German Cultural Exchange Authority (DAAD) with the support of the Center for Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship (TIEC), the academy ASRT, Egypt Good Foundation, Bibliotheca Alexandrina and El Senary House.

The Falling Wall Laboratory Competition is an inspirational and multidisciplinary form of outstanding talent that provides young academics, business people and professionals from all fields, whether in agriculture, medicine, economics or engineering to the humanities; to share their pioneering ideas by presenting them in three minutes on stage to prove their abilities in front of the jury of distinguished members with expertise in the relevant fields of specialization, with the aim of promoting scientific and commercial innovations and promoting exchanges between eminent scientists and professionals from different fields of expertise.

Deadline for submission is June 16, 2019.

 The Academy announces that the competition will include this year areas outside Cairo to enable young people to present creative ideas and access to all who wish to participate in the competition. The final stage of the "Falling Wall Laboratory" competition will be held on July 25, 2019 at Al-Sinari House.

The winner will receive full sponsorship for travel and participation to represent Egypt in the grand stage of the international competition "Falling Walls Labs" in Berlin in November, where final level will collect 100 participants. Each of the finalists will have the opportunity to present their research work or idea to an elite committee at the academic level, research and commercial.
