The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announces that IIASA, in collaboration with the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC), the International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA) and the Global Young Academy (GYA), is hosting a three-day summer school from 5-7 September 2018 bringing together researchers and policymakers to learn how to optimize the use of scientific evidence in policy making. The event is held under the auspices of the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, with the support of the Austrian Ministry for Education, Science and Research and the Austrian Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs.
