The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, announces that 14 Egyptian universities progresses in the US-NEWS classification over 1250 universities worldwide in 2018.
He also points out that Cairo University topped the Egyptian universities in the classification with position of 448 globally which includes the top of 500 universities in the world.
Mansoura University ranks second position over Egyptian universities and 698 globally, followed by Suez Canal University (717) and Ain Shams University in the fourth position (729).
