The British newspaper of "The Daily News Egypt" issued on January 2, 2019, as well as a number of the most newspapers and news sites in its harvest of the most important events in Egypt last year chose the discover of the Egyptian dinosaur of Mansurusaurus as the most important scientific event in Egypt in 2018. The research paper was published in late January 2018 in the journal Nature of the branch of ecology.  The research paper specified of the new species of dinosaurs herbivores weighing 5 tons, where it was discovered and extracted from the rocks of the Dakhla in southern Egypt in Western desert by the team Mansoura University Center for excavations headed by Dr. / Hisham Salam.
