Academy of Scientific Research and Technology has announced accepting nominations for three awards to be granted to young African researchers. 

The nominee must have obtained the PhD degree, in addition to innovative scientific work published in a specialized scientific journal (or has a registered patent).

Nominations are accepted starting today from universities, research institutions, research centers, and individual researchers in the fields of agriculture, food science, health, pharmaceuticals, water, energy and environmental sciences. Each award amounts to fifteen thousand US dollars or its equivalent in local currency, in addition to the shield of ASRT. Deadline for nominations is set to 30 March 2018.
