Visit of British research team from Hertfordshire University at Mansoura University
The Egyptian Research Team from Mansoura University, the City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications, and the Agricultural Research Center, which consists of:
Dr. Yasser Shabaneh, Dr. Younis Rashad, Dr. Nehal Arafat, Prof. Khaled Ghonaim, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Attabi, and Dr. Hamada Abdel-Aziz received British research team from Hertfordshire University.
The British research team of Hertfordshire University which consists of: Prof. Bruce Fitt, Dr. Aiming Qi, Dr. Ben Richard and the partner in the research program "The impact of climate change on the presence and spread of pathogenic fungi on wheat and corn seeds in Egypt" under the auspices of the Newton-Mosharafa program (sponsored by the British Cultural Center and the Science and Technology Fund STDF).
The delegation participated in the seminar on the Newton Program, which was held at the Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. The workshop was attended by Prof. Bruce Fett and Prof. Yasser Shabaneh. Then, the British delegation went to the Faculty of Agriculture to give two lectures on the impact of climate change on the occurrence of epidemics and plant diseases and toured the laboratories of the Faculty and the Department of Plant Pathology and met with the Egyptian team..
