The Mansoura University ranked 999th in the January 2022 edition, comparing to its ranking last year which is 1011th, the eleventh in Africa and the third locally.

It is worth noting that the competition between universities exceeded thirty-one thousand universities and educational institutions.

Webometrics World University Assessment is considered the largest system for evaluating international universities, issued in Spain by the Higher Council for Scientific Research. 

The aim of the assessment is to improve the online presence of higher education and scientific research institutions and encourage the publication of peer-reviewed scientific articles in an open access manner. 

It is a semi-annual assessment, issued in January and July of each year, and is based on measuring the performance of universities through their website.
