Workshop "Writing a funding proposal" held by Prof.Dr./ Mohamed Rashad

Prof. Rashad awarded the State Prize of Excellence in Advanced Science and Technology 2014, the Egyptian Academy Award in Environmental Studies 2014, the First State Incentive Award for Advanced Sciences 2006, Excellence prize in Materials Science and Technology (Prof. Fawzy Hammad) 2008 and Prize of Excellence and Innovation in Environmental Studies (Prof. Osama Kholy Prize) 2012. Order of Merit Medal, First Class in Science & Arts from the President of Egypt 2017. CMRDI prize for Distinguished Publications 2016. He is selected in Stanford list (Best 2% of the scientists in the world in applied physics and materials Science) Prof. Rashad is the number "1" for the articles in the Journals at CMRDI, Cairo, Egypt. Total publications in Journals ~ 200 papers as well as 150 presentations in local and international conferences. He has also 5 books chapters. He supervised around 50 M.Sc and PhD thesis in Materials Science and Technology. Prof. Rashad is organized many conferences and workshops in Materials Science and Engineering. Prof. Rashad is the chairman of the National Council Committee of Advanced and New Materials, Academy of Scientific Research and Technology from 2018 to 2021 as well as rapporteur of local manufacturing committee, Technical Office of Academy Scientific Research and Technology. Prof. Rashad is a potential reviewer for ~ 85 International Journals, editors for 5 Journals, reviewers for STDF, ASRT, Misr Kheir as well as different Universities and Institutes projects. Prof. Rashad is the Principal Investigator, Co-PI, members of many multidisciplinary projects ~ 35 projects (International Joint Projects with USA, Sweden, Italy, Germany, South Africa, Belorussia, and India) in addition to Local projects. Prof. Rashad works deals with nanomaterials and nanotechnology, energy production and storage, magnetic materials, piezoelectric materials, optical materials, fuel cell, electronic & magnetic devices and smart materials. h index from Scopus 40 whereas h index from google scholar citation is 43
