The Department of Chemistry is one of the most prestigious departments in the Faculty of Science, Mansoura University. It was established in 1969 with the aim of assisting students and developing their understanding of chemistry and modern technologies, preparing them and qualifying them scientifically and technically to serve the country and compete in the local and regional labor market.

  The department includes a group of the best faculty members and distinguished researchers in various branches of chemistry, in addition to the number of graduate students on scholarships in the most prestigious international universities to obtain M. Sc. and Ph D. degrees.
